I upgrade the BIOS on my Soyo Dragon Ultra to the 2AP1R BIOS which is a beta OC BIOS. The only change I made was OC the 512MB Mushkin PC2100 memory to CAS2-2-2 to 333MHz. It is running solid as a rock at all the fastest timings. The PNY Geforce4 Ti4400 is at stock speed. Check out the score: 10648 http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4298458
Thats a nice score you got there. Now just up the speeds on that GF4 and watch yourself go past 11k easy. When I upped my GF4 up I got almost 1100 extra points. Go for 11k go go go.
Well upping the FSB to 140 netted me 10763. Link in sig. I wanna see how high I can get it by OCing the MB and CPU b4 I OC the vid card.
Nice, you are ognna get over 11k with the video card stock at this rate. I wish I had a shiny new XP to oc to the max. Oh well, last XP before hammer is what I will be getting, then I will be happy for a couple of uh, days.
I've got the memory set at 166MHz, and timings are CAS2, 2,3,2,6,1T command, 4-bank. The fastest they will go. I had to disable the onboard NIC b/c I couldn't go over 140FSB and have it still work. I installed a 3Com 10/100 and it works fine at 145FSB. The onboard sound craps out on me at 145FSB though. Haven't tried it at 140 yet. I'm gonna disable it tommorrow and install the Audigy card to see if I get better results. If not, it's a Turtle Beach card after that. The system was stable at 145FSB except for the sound. For now I'm gonna stick the stock CPU speed until I get the sound issue worked out. I wanna be able to run everything as fast as possible and be 100% stable. Rocket fast PC is no good unless it's stable for me. I think my next move will be a Antec True Power 430PS and some Corsair XMS 3200 memory at CAS2. I always said I wouldn't OC it but DAM it's addictive once you try. But I still like the 10975 3D Mark score.
