Wor/wol

    Hey there guys!!!...

    Just a quickie here. My new mobo has a WOR(wake on ring) header and no WOL(Wake on lan) header. Now supposing I got a NIC with WOL capabilities...could I connect it to the WOR header and get it to work????

    I.e. same 5VB is supplied and I would imagine all it needs is one signal to say wake up!!!

    er doubt it as its a specific signal that has to be sent to your nic, to get it to get the mobo to wake up...you can always try i though...

    No, it won't work.
    I Think think the connectors are different as well.
