    My friend needs some help - he has a bunch of old text documents that were saved in an early version of word perfect (i do not know the exact version.) He has updated his computer to Office 2003 Professional and would like to be able to open the files... alas he cant.

    Does anyone here know of a converter or tool that we can use to open these files?

    I have had good luck opening Corel Wordperfect 10 and 11 files in OpenOffice.

    Office 2003 has one, but he'll need the install disc. :eyebrow:

    Does he get the pop-up saying point me to PRO11.MSI? Stick the CD in the drive and point to root.

    WFM on a wpd file from 1997, I don't have a really old WP5.1 (DOS) to test on. But any problems can be solved with tips given here.
