Apple Word processor for Macs?

    i'v looked in the mast have software for macs thread but found nothing,
    is there any free word prosser software out for macs, bar openoffice ??

    Yes I know its MS but its quite good.

    he asked for a free one.

    and i know, i know, it's not free, but iWork is very, very good and quite cheap (about £60 i think) - it comes with keynote which beats the living piss out of powerpoint, and pages, which is pretty good.

    Their is Neooffice which is open office but doesn't require X11?

    thanks, Abiword will do for me :) only needed it to put an address on my rmaed mainbord, and for my sisters kids to do some home work on it.
    there is a good reasion why i dont want to use Microsoft Office:Mac , £300+ :eeek:

    Yes Word/ Office is very 'un-pocket bolging' but Abiword is a fairly good kit, theres no word processor or much gadgets like word though but its good for a freed download ;)
