Work Experience

ok so in may i get to go on work experience for 5 days 16-21 and i was wondering if you guys new any good places to in Newcastle or the Durham area taking in to mind that my future career plan is to be a computer games designer so i wanna get a feel for the industry and learn to programme and things like that any ideas?? i heard that Rage software is in Newcastle...thanks in advance, Ice

Don't work in a shop.
It is really boring and the music really begins to annoy you after the tenth time you've heard it

 

There are bound to be some local IT companies around that you can approach... When i did W/ex school had a big directory of places that have given students work experience before.

 

go to large factories i went to the big carpet mills in my town and got work exp in the IT Support

 

Reflections Interactive are located right next door to where I work - behind Central Station.

Apply to work there...which means you can join my team getting rat-arsed after work and laughing at the RI people and mocking them about how bad Driv3r was.

Try the local secondary schools. That’s where I did mine (all girls are the best )
