I work week days and whenever I'm paid to do so - I'm self employed so appreciate any work that comes my way... that and I charge more for anti-social hours.

    Sorry. But.

    I work in a school
39 week so 13 weeks holiday.
    8.30 to 4.00
    NEVER at weekends.

My problem is I'm institutionalised, the thought of working weekends or only 5 weeks holiday just feaks me out. Even though I could earn +10k by getting a real job.

    I'm just lazy.
    And proud of it.

Worked 8 hours today without a single break, after only 4 hours sleep and nothing to eat. I feel like a zombie. Pay wasn't even that good either, only 1.3x normal pay :(

I've not worked a Sunday in 10 years!
But if I my appeal through and get the job I want, then I'll probably have to do 12 hour shifts every one in 3 or 4.

Too right working on Sundays should be banned. I enjoy having the weekends off, because it allows me the opportunity to go to the store and buy things...from people......who have to work.

    Ooh.

Just a day like any other. Bit busier. Few more appointments. Get a day off in the week. Doesn't bother me!

Wow...if I have to go in on a sunday for either of my jobs (both are cinemas) it's just normal pay :grr: We get double pay 3 or 4 bank holidays a year + Christmas eve and New Years eve, that's it.

I worked half ten to midnight on Friday without any sleep (Wire Season 2 Cheesecake), Monster's the only way dude. And a tasty burrito somewheres in the middle...

I used to work 68 hours a week but now 37.5 with a salary of double and company mobile and expenses

10 hours on Sunday was hard but move to The Netherlands and basically every store is closed on Sunday except petrol stations and on Mondays many stores don't open till 13:00 or not at all.
