Case Mod - In Progress [Worklog] Rebuilding an old companion Project ‘Battlefield’

Part 2

I glued the whole thing together with Pattex assembly adhesive and filled in any gaps with a bit more plaster.
Painting it turned out to be a bit of a challenge right up to the end, but with the help of a few videos, I managed it in the end.
I used light colours like red, yellow and orange as the base, then added a few strokes of black paint diluted with water, and finished by dry-brushing with stone grey.
All the paints are acrylic and washable with water.

Not quite what I’d had in mind, but the more you look at it, the more it actually fits the overall look.
I also added a bit of ‘landscape’ – as you’ve already seen, the barrels and AKs are set in a meadow.
For this, I used grass from model-making kits.

I’ve got a quick update on the Distro for you.
The design is now complete and everything has been finalised; there’s already plenty of resin available – it just needs to be printed.
Here’s the old design for comparison

Here’s the new one for comparison. The Tank is now positioned directly on the pump, so that should sort out the problem with filling it up.
