I currently have a Geforce 3 64MB, it gets close to 9000 3D marks. Is it worht the $60-70 to upgrade to a Radeon 9200?

IMO if you are going to play games that use Directx8.1+ then it's worth to upgrade now.
If you can save a little more i'd go for a 9500 or 9500pro.

I was thinking it might be a good idea to save up while waiting for 256MB DirectX 9 cards to drop below $200, as my Geforce 3 can handle most current games fairly well. It's not earth shaking graphics but at 800*600 with nice settings I can do a fair amount of FPS.

you dont need more than 128meg, but id defo get more than a 64meg card ;)

9500/9600 128meg if u can - 9200s are just rebadged 8500s with a few tweaks and isnt worth it over a GF3 imo.

But I'm going to wait until you actually do need 256mb or my Geforce 3 has problems playing games. I was a bit nevrous as when I was looking at all the $50-$80 cards there were a few Geforce 3s, I want to be sure I am getting a big performance leap of maybe 5000 3d marks (I am just under 9000 wiht the geforce 3)
