Electronics would eny one know how to fix...

    ...an organ,ya well it was on sale in the thrift store.well I plug it in and nothing happens so I fugure out it neads two new fuses well I get new ones plug it in and turn it on and the pop,keap reading,well after figuring out it was the black cable set then I unpluged this wierd thingy on the bottom were there is another black thingy.the fuses kept poping then I unpluged the speakers and the thing quit popping,keap reading, well I pluged the speakers back in and now the anoing buzzzzzzz sound is gone and the fuses quit popping but now music can be herd when I press the keys,they couldn't through the whole fixing/figuring out why pop thing but.well I am stomped eny one got eny ideas the organ is a Lawrey Organ type TLS.Thanks.

    bump could it just nead new speakers because the buzz is gone.

    The speakers are probably okay. The buzz you heard was most likely caused by a bad connection somewhere and you were picking up AC hum.

    well my mother said her dads organ used to hum and it was sopposed to.well I put on a new speaker it wasnt that.and now im stumped it wont do enything except light up the power button like it was sopposed to.oh and the power supply vibrates a little and I think it is sopposed to.

    There are a couple ways the hum you hear could be happening. One way is the power supply electrolytic capacitors are old and need to be replaced. This lets AC ripple get into the audio circuits. Another way is there may be a bad ground connection. If the AC plug is not polarized you may be able to swap the plug around and see if that helps. This would only work on really old equipment.

    If this organ is old enough to have tubes be careful of high voltage.
