Electronics Would it be a safe bet not to go near an 8000µ 42v capacitor..?

    yeah, it have discharged after the power has gone out with the amp. Sam thing happens to old PSUs. I was hoping to make some archy/sparky goin on with a phillips screwdriver on a 240V 550uF cap. but it no do anything :waah:
    ow well... maybe next time.

    oh, also, I should add that in phys 11 we learned that a coulomb is a VERy large charge. so if the cap if fully charged, you may have a hard one for the rest of your life... or you could use it as a toy with the wife/gf... LOL
