this is a project that have been started a while ago, is planned to be a Theme mod for the game "world of warcraft". some etching with the dremel is made. gonna be 2 cases, 1horde and 1alliance case its kinda hard to get good pics on see thru stuff but trying well here is some pics.. starting to draw stuff up. done but the details need some work .. and here is another side etched the bad part is that i couldnt find any real good pics on landscape to use.. ok just making some tests on pics to use not done gonna try remake it a bit.. oki this is how it looks gonna do some detail work but im gonna do that on all sides when all is done.. ok have made some shopping to get started for real.. ok front and top made for the alliance case.. gonna do some holes to get the 120mm fasn in and cd and so on.. ok switching to horde case for a while.. etched and painted .. painted front missing the holes for cd and fans etc side half etched same side result is ok some nice evil lights and this will be fine. front just some holes now and will be nice ok painted the top but not the whole thing ..this gonna be a bit diffrent..i dont like to have the same structure on the cases gonna be a "rocky" top
ok still the making of the top playing with t like the kids with clay oki allmost done ..just gonna pull out the airbrush and see if i can make something rocky out of it.. ok first try ..kinda ok gonna do some more detailed work later ok need to fix the edges looks kinda nice it looks alot better live tho started putting the evil case together.. not half done with the case tho.. dirty but on its way. ok back to the alliance case..

ok still working on the front part .. for you guys that played the game you know this thing is a returning thing in the game.. new ideas.. lister... ok thats how it looks now but still missing something..
ok to mych acrylics .. so i need to break it somehow... alu kinda hard to get thru it tho my surname is "Gustafsson" so a G is kinda nice to have.. sleaving? the fun part with this was the "what cable goes where?" but its solved..
more cables.. had to change the fan from black to alu.. spotcables done.. more cables making somewhere to place the ¨cables .. ok just to hold the kables so they will be in place .. will be shiny and fine later just done in a haste..
some more working .. just a acrylic piece to try a thing.. ok back to the horde case.. just trying some stuff out on it back to the light again.. cd in place.. it fits so the screws are not needed..and yes its upside down ;P thats me for this time will be update when i have more
im really loving the frosted edging on the alliance case, realy sets it ~ great work on the etching also btw ^_^
That's some really impressive work there! Could you tell me a bit more about how you got the "g" mark on the aluminum circle?
its "engraved/etched" i dont know if thats the word for it.. with a dremel its hell of a work tho cause its a funny metal to work on.. the word in sweden is "gravera"
lotsa stuff you can do with a dremel .. made this when had had a boring day ..its a part of glas table..
