I have a Seiko Kinetic Arctura i was given as an 18th birthday present but i cant find any pictures of it online (i'm at work atm). My new pride and joy is the Tag Heur Aquaracer my finace gave me as an engagement present. http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/product.asp?cid=1&pid=11831
My latest are a Hamilton Khaki Chrono (Quartz) and a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust that my father gifted me. I have literally no idea where he got the idea to give a college student a gold-and-silver watch but hey, I'm not complaining. I'd post pics but the Rolex is at home (haven't the minerals to bring it to college) and the Hamilton has been comandeered by a friend for a few days now
Normally I carry pocket watches like these: My favorite watch is an Armitron self winder with an open face. You can see the gears from both sides: A WIP - titanium case with stainless steel band and shock absorbers from an R/C car. I'll finish it someday and put the springs on the shocks: Another couple of Armitrons - first is analog and digital and second just digital but I liked the band: john
Got a Zeno Sea Hunter recently, it's nice to have a bracelet watch on again ^ Not my image, but the same watch
I found another one of mine. A picture soon and I need a movie. You guys are going to love this one. Probably the only watch that needs a movie. john
I've been loading my wife's eBay store with boardgames and RPG books. Here is for size With some numbers The movie is here: http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/hh137/jhanlon303/watches/?action=view¤t=100_5384.flv The watch scrolls sideways like a marquee. It's cool. john
Don't you ever get annoyed that you have to wait a few seconds to get to the time? That said I sometimes look at my watch and then 5 seconds later realise that I didn't take anything in. Are you able to adjust what it displays?
It has 4 alarms, an Indigo backlight, and can be set for military time or European date. Not really fat hands just very small wrists. With the asbestos eating me up I have the muscle tone of a tomato. I've lost 110 pounds in the last 2 years. john
I do that all the time, a glance and you realise you're ok for the next few hours, but if someone asks you the time you have to look again
That's a really nice unique watch John! I have my eye on a Tag in our local Goldsmiths now I just paid for my new Tissot then the next day saw this thing... I don't know what model it is, next time I go by the Goldsmiths I'll nip in and try it on then post a pic here It was in around the £1900 mark, I won't be buying it any time soon. Paying for my Tissot at the end of the month stung enough
