Looking through the BBFC website the other day, I noticed they posted the rating of Terminator 3 as 12A. Thinking it's a mistake (BBFC's website has a lot of those), I click the link and read the concise "Contains strong language and violence". Yup a mistake. But today at the cinema I noticed all the T3 posters had '12A' printed on them. After doing a quick search in the internet, it looks like I was wrong. Somebody on a T3 forum emailed the BBFC querying the certificate and got a reply basically stating it's no mistake, Terminator 3 has been passed 12A uncut. The same person then emailed Sony thinking it was one of those 'pre-cut jobbies with advice from the BBFC'. Sony replied it's the complete uncut R-rated movie. Weird or what. Has such mixed ratings ever happened before?
