I'm looking to administer my two linux boxes remotely (from within the same home network) and I'm wondering whether there are any software packages other than Cygwin and Xming that I can use? For some reason, my current setup doesn't like either of those two programs. It could either be the router or the XDMCP setup on the two boxes.

Any ideas on what software there is (that is free and preferably OSS) that I can use or whether I may have set something up wrong on the linux systems?

    TIA

    Andy

P.S. Currently, the two systems are both running CentOS 4.6, but I want to upgrade at least one to Fedora 8 or 9.
