That's so weird :| If something like that happened to me, I would want to press charges, especially if it was a police officer. What did he mean the stuff wasnt being taken care of properly? It's her property to do what she likes with Very strange... I'm pretty sure he broke some law there, you can't just tell someone to steal another persons property and not call it breaking the law. Surely it's like felony theft or something similar, although that law may not apply in Texas, I'm not sure.
He posted a message claiming to be someone he wasn't - that's fraud, for starters. I'm sure there's some law regarding theft, too.
When I was a lot younger and bored at school, we used to call up and order pizza's to be delivered at houses next to the school. We'd watch from the classroom windows whilst the homeowners would claim they had not made the owner whilst the delivery boy would insist more to stop himself loosing his wage. It was really funny at the time but can now see how immature it was. Now that he's caught of course he's going to be ashamed.
Wouldn't this also come under conspiracy to steal? Perhaps even entrapment from the men's point of view.
Thats hilarious... Some people seriously need crap to be removed from their lawns. You can complain to the city about 'garbage' being in someones lawn, but in all honesty that works about 1 out of 5 times. Now if that cop was 'smart' he would have used a proxy server to connect to craigslist and made it completely anonymous.
