Argos (arrrrgoooose) sells something similar that sends video. I think they are about £100. Hope that helps :D

The x10 is just a brand.

What you are looking for is 2.4ghz wireless video transmitter/receiver.

Other than that they work great, unless you have a 2.4ghz phone

I used several of these and really never had too much trouble with 2.4 ghz phones the thing that completly screwed up the signal is my wireless router, so watch out for that.

Ok, I've just done my house out with these..

The things you're after are branded 'Digisender' and Argos do them. You get a transmistter and reciever package, then a seperate receiver if you want more than one remote end. I think it's about 80 quid for the transmitter/receiver package and 40 for the receiver.

They in/output to a SCART socket, so you'll need converters if you're going from a PC TV Out.

I have no trouble with DECT phones round the house, however Wireless LAN and Microwave Ovens really annoy them. I've had limited success with changing the channels they use to cut down on the WLAN interference but generally it's noticeable.

If none of those are an issue, then picture quality is great.. better than RF, however depending on how far you're going, you can get signal problems with people walking around near it or electrical interference (which can usually be sorted by moving the units around).

Also, the models I have do Remote IR sending, but *don't* do Telewest/NTL IR control as they use IRdA (I think) and not regular IR. They're supposed to be bringing something out which supports it soon.. if it's ever going to be an issue.

Does anyone know how i could get these things to send audio out of my soundcard as well? Would i need some kind of scart converter that has separate audio an tv out connections? Can you get these?

You can get scart to rca. This will output to the left and right audio channels, and a video one. Depending on what connections you have from your soundcard you can link up the audio channels. Should work fine, but there may be cheaper options just for audio?

edit: These converters are readily available in most stores for a few quid :D
