Motherboards X58 Mobo for less than £160! And who said i7 platforrm wouldn't get affordable?

    It's mostly the huge price of DDR3 and the starting price of $300 for the processors that make i7 so expensive, not so much the motherboards.

    ^ All of the X58 "components" have come down in price. The DDR3 is a lot cheaper than it was - I bought my RAM for £197, now its £147. Motherboard's started out at £250, now they're around £170-£240, and the processors - well they've gone up in price. :p

    Quite frankly I'd stay away from the bottom-of-the-range MSI motherboard :D

    But this has only made me feel sick, just knowing that I7 related hardware is tumbling in price, and i've just bought a new 775 board.

    Maybe i shouldn't feel bad, but i cant help it! its the new hardware impluse i tell ya!
