    the r520 + crossfirecard?

What would be the best ? I heard the r520 will > all other ati cards.. but will it be worth the wait?

I am considering of buying the x850xt/pe platinum pci-e and then the crossfire mobo + crossfire card.. since they will be here within 3 weeks or so I am really interested in that..

And I don't know how long the r520 will take? So will it be worth the waiting for the r520 or should I buy the x850xt/pe pci-e?

The R520 should be a beast of a card (if as we are lead to believe it will be faster than the G70 (7800 GTX)) There are some benchmarks available with a heavily overclocked X850 crossfire based system, scoring a little over 15k in 3dmark 05.
I notice you currently have a X850 PCI-e card, why not grab a crossfire mobo now, and use the current card until the R520 emerges. You'll have first hand benchies then, to make your mind up with. In the mean time, a single X850 isnt exactly slow is it ;)
If you decide the R520 isnt the way to go, then add an X850 based crossfire master card for dually action....
