My xbox is recently having problems when playing games. Loading large levels in Halo 2 and playing Mercenaries itll not pre-cache ahead properly and either give a disk read error or not display the map and it's contents properly Is my DVD drive on it's last legs? We use the xbox loads.
Hi Bindibadgi, It sounds like the DVD drive is on its way out. . They can be easily replaced using a torx 10 I think screw driver. And the drives are cheaply avalible on Ebay. Good luck. Rob.
Yea ive taken it apart dozens of times so that's no prob. Ebay eh? Bugger. Ill probably get one from lik-sang if it does.
