Xbox 360 XBOX Live Making Your 360 Freeze?

Just wondering. My 360 is freezing on startup, just as it signs me into LIVE. It's doesn't freeze with the the HDD disconnected, and I just discovered it is also OK if I remove the ethernet cable. The common thread here being unable to sign into LIVE.

Is it just me, or is there something up with LIVE?

EDIT: It is still freezing, but if I startup with the ethernet disconnected, and then connect the cable once it's all started, it's fine. Start with the cable in, and it freezes.

 

Sometimes it does it for me if I press the guide button when booting a game, just give it a few hours.

 

I get it when i open /close my friends list during bootup too quickly. I think its a minor issue.

 

I've been using this thing since launch, with only a couple of freezes in HL2 to show for it. Very odd that it does this now... I hope this isn't a precursor to the Rings o' Deth!

 

Mine seems to only freeze when playing demos that I downloaded

 

Live was ****ed last night. There were times when you could not sign in, you could sign in but not recover accounts and you could not get server infor for Halo 3.

It was seriously gay to happen in the middle of a LAN party for me.

 

Funny you should say that, it started doing it straight after I downloaded the VF5 demo.
