    Greetings,

I always wanted to learn how to take nice photos and get more into the photography. right now I have an old photo camera which is FinePix S5600.
I am learning the setting and functions and thinking about to get a good camera soon!

My camera was supplied with 16MB xD Card :D ahaha yes, 16MB!
I want to order new xD card but I've seen alot of them a different. There is Type H and Type M or M+....

How are they different and what will suit better?

    Thanks forward.

The Wiki page on xD cards has all the info you need.

Personally, I'd have a look around on eBay for a microSD to xD card converter - my gf's new olympus came with one, and it's really nice to get 4GB for £5. :D

    So i don't get it :D Is M+ better than H?
Will be 1GB enough if I will always sync pictures to laptop each night and is RAW format better than normal?

    Thaaaanks.

P.S Also just looked for microSD to xD card converter and cannot find any.

M+ is about as fast as H by the sound of it.

Personally, I'd go for a 2GB H card and shoot in RAW. :)

    Yeah i thought I'll get 2GB H and shoot i RAW.
Also just found adapter/converter and it is 20 pounds :D I don't think there is a need in spending 20 pounds on adapter if even 1GB will be enough for the day.

    Thanks for your help though!
Is there any VERY needed tips for the noobie? :D Before the topic is closed?

    Thaaaanks.
