Seems to be fixed now - I was getting that error viewing any thread (including this one that I made!)
Is it the same disk that holds the main site? Could win a little bit back by running all the JPEGs through jpgcrush. Lossless optimisation - it'll shave 1-15% off the file size (but most usually 2-3% - not much, but every little helps!) Would it be better if us members used third party picture hosting, rather than on-site albums? I've only recently started using the albums but, am open to suggestions for a good, free hosting service.
3rd party is bad. All the pics on old logs are gone because of them. If I had money, I'd send a hard drive.
@MLyons always reach out if you need some funds to help keep the server up and running. Not talking £100s, but a few 10s of quid here and there are a possibility. I'm sure there are others on here who'd also be willing to give small donations. I'd love to share the burden, but I'm actually very poor in terms of computing knowledge. I know how to build a PC, install Windows and then play games and watch Netflix, but that's about it! This server malarkey is magical to me.
