Personally I would go for the Antec 100 as based on pictures alone it appears to have better cable management and comes with 2 fans as standard. The Antec 100 is slightly more expensive at £42 but worth it IMO.

The price of that case is certainly appealing for a budget build base though.

HI the Midguard is a much better case, thats the Xigmatec to go for.
Built many systems in that, much better then the small Antec 300, much neater and better cooling.

Can't comment on the Asgard but i can say that i built a rig for a friend not too long ago using an Antec 300 and, considering the reputation of Antec, the cable management was horrible (admittedly using a captive PSU). Not only was there no options for running behind the motherboard tray etc. i found there to be very little in the way of points to use cables ties on resulting in a neat arrangement but all visible and with ties through unused 5.25 bays and the like.

Apart from that cooling is decent and, in my opinion at least, it looks nicer but going by price and other peoples comments i'd definitely go with the Asgard or Antec 100.

That Coolermaster looks very nice for the price though.

I like the Asgard. Not had much contact with it, but from what I've seen, looks more than comparable with the lower end CM offerings. And, as for the Antec 300, I personally think it's design is quite aged now - there's better options for the price...

For this price, I'd definitely go with the Asgard ;)

The Asgard is pretty nice. I have one for a second rig.
Just bear in mind that it is cheap for a reason; the metal used in the construction is a little on the thin and flimsy side. Also to get the most of it, it is really essential to add an extra fan to the rear.

For the money though, I've been really happy with mine.

    WoW all good comments.

thanks guys, i think im going to get this case. it will also save me £20 now im not going for the antec 300 so that extra £20 can be spent on something else.

    Thank You All :)

Yeah should be great mate, think I'll pick one up sometime soon for the second hand budget gaming rig I'm looking at building for my brother. Seems fantastic value for money ;)

    Good luck with your system
