I much prefer the aesthetic styling to the Asgard/Midgard/Utgard too, the latter being the only one I do not currently own. A real shame as I thought Xigmatek were on a path to cooling victory!

Stoopid layout for the fans blowing air through the HDD-cage from left to right.

And why do all manufacturers do build their cases this way anyways with fans cooling primarily the HDDs? HDDs feel perfectly fine at 35-45°C (safe operating temps claimed by manufacturers is 0-60°C)... there's no need to cool them down that much to begin with.

Airflow sholdn't be obstructed by the HDDs... it's simply inefficient.

Nevertheless, for the money they're asking I'd rather buy a nice Fractal Design Arc Midi.... once it's available :hehe:

I think someone on the design team got confused over the meaning of 'hot' swapping.

Hmmm this or a Define R3..... I know where my money would be going.

The HD fan mounts are possibly the worst design I have seen in a case for a long while. As are the HD "vents" on either side panel.

i have bought this case off newegg. I'm going to tell you why i bought this case

The ONLY reason i bought this case is for the fact of how water cooling friendly it is.
I am surprised he didn't go off on that for the review. In the product description the top elevated area was put in so you could in place a 240mm or 280mm radiator. not many cases out there have done this to make a case more water friendly.

I also picked this case above other cases because of the 4 water line entrances on the back. i am grabbing 2 external water kits to cool my duel video card setup. so this case was perfect.

I do agree with the other people that this case is ugly. I never did like the mesh look. more of a polished black paint with red accents guy myself.
