It looks like I have exceeded my number of times that I have used my XP activatation key and I need to call microsoft to tell them why. What should I say as an accetable reason. I appreciate any help.

    TIA

They may not ask, rthey didn't ask me yesterday at least.

If they do, just say you were having driver problems.

If you test new software, you might have reinstalled several times in order to test on a clean system and isolate any issues.

What's the real reason you've reinstalled so many times?

    Tell 'em that.

I've found that if you have a legit copy and you're up front enough to give them a call, they never give you a huge hassle.

Same here... MS is quite customer friendly, but if you use pirated software, and therefor aren't a customer, they're not.

Just tell them the real reason...
