    I love NTL, they are great. I get at least 1 hour downtime every day. I cant plug in my cable telly box if I want to use the internet as it disrupts the signal.

    NTL have said 3 times they are going to fix it, twice they didnt turn up and the third time they didnt know what was wrong.

    why cant i have blueyonder?!?!? :sigh:

    Ive been playing with SP1 today, it seems pritty good some nice desktop speed ups (opening my computer etc).

    It did make Office XP do strange things but I blame Office XP ;)

    Official.

    Microsoft released it to their Premier service clients first, but stupidly haven't put a password on the download. The link was leaked very soon afterwards. If you find the download timing out or not working, just try again later - there are a few hundred thousand people trying to get it too.

    On the 9th Microsoft will move it to the official SP1 page and Windows Update.

    I hate officially hate Microsoft now. I left my computer online all night to download it and wake up this morning to find myself disconnected after having downloaded about 85 megs of it and now I can't connect to the site to try and save what I have already downloaded. :miffed: That is making me mad. :miffed: :( :grr:

    EDIT: pretty big speeling mistake

    If your trying to download from HP's link, you'll have given up by now, as the server is getting hammered

    If you're lucky to get on, you'll get ****ty download rates (I gave up after getting 707 bytes/sec on ADSL!)

    However, I have found this link:

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/SP/SP1/WXP/en-us/xpsp1_en_x86.exe

    It's a bit quieter, and I'm currently downloading at a steady 57k/sec.
