Windows XP SP2 crashes PC.. Help?

    I installed SP2.....borked my philips webcam.....and slowed my pc down like a pile of cr*p.....wish i hadnt bothered.......stick with sp1 and get all teh critical updates

    i upgraded to SP2 through windows update. Windows = hosed.

    I then reinstalled windows, installed Sp1a, then installed SP2 from one of those SP2 cds that MS send out. Works fine :rock:

    Remember how I said it wasn't working (at all) on my sister's computer, but MS was providing support? Well their final answer was either forget about it or format and do a fresh install. :sigh: gg
