How would i go about getting a new theme for my PC instead of the normal green, blue or sliver?

    Cheers for any help.

You can use Windows Blinds, but be sure to backup your files and create a System Restore point beforehand.

you can use Windows skinning programs like WindowBinds and StyleXP... or you can use UXtheme patcher which lets you run unsigned themes directly in windows.... google for more info :)

As above, use the UXTheme.dll multipatcher, then you can use any .msstyles theme you want, just stick it somewhere out of the way (C:\themes), double click and you're off.

In fact, if you replace your uxtheme.dll file with the patched version, you can download Visual Styles and put them in the Windows\Resources\Themes folder, and use them from Display Properties like any other theme.

Huh  How much does Microsoft Plus! cost :eeek:

Why pay... when there are literally 1,000's of themes available for download free of charge, from any number of websites

You can also customise the Classic theme, if you don't like any of the MS options. Get the free 3DCC tool and set your own colours.
So does uxtheme.dll. WBlinds.dll is a substitute for it, not an add-on. ;)
