Well my xp rig has now become my gaming rig and I need to optimize it. There used to be a thread on this but can't find it now. Whats can I do to improve my xp setup?
move your page file onto a seperate hard drive if possible. increase the page file to 1.5x your ram, not really necessary if you have a lot of ram but it still helps.

Also you can disable it from registry (danger! your editing registry!, make backup before changing anything in registry. You can use the backup that you used in CCleaner, if you did not do any changes).
