A close friend of mine is having issues running Steam on XPx64. He says it restarts his computer every time he loads it. To get it working once he has to reinstall (every time he wants it to work) is there any fix to this issue? Drivers are all up to date the PC was made a few days ago.
get rid of XP64 its garbage lol. it has poor driver support and lots of programs dont function correctly on it. get win7 on it instead
Ive used xp64 for over 3 years, had no (Major) issues. I agree the driver support was a bit pants. I had no issues with steam as far as i can remember. Its only really useful if you have more the 3Gb of RAM. I currently Tri boot with Vista, Win 7 and Linux.
