Graphics XT1900XT Power usage?

    In a couple of weeks i'll be building a Conroe Shuttle system and was wondering if a 400Watt PSU would be able to handle a a E6300 and a XT1900XT? If not, back to drawing board!!!

    Depends on the make of the psu.

    i agree depends on the make. if it's a quality PSU then you should be fine as long as you don't add to much more. also you should also find out what the amp rating for the +12v rail(s) is on that power supply you'll want atleast 30-40 amps. (the more the better)

    Here is the spec of the PSU:

    SilentX 400 Watt mini PSU with switch, supports 110/240V
    connectors: 2x3 pin (CPU power), 2x4 pin (mainboard power)
    Active PFC circuit (Power Factor Correction)
    EMI certified: FCC, CE, BSMI, C-Tick
    Safety certified: UL, TüV, CB, BSMI

    I think 27A is the recommended amount.

    remember shuttle PSU's are often very efficient. therefore even though its a 400W PSU it will work fine.
