Did you already buy the XThermaltake 140mm x 25mm? If not I would reconsider, look into Yateloon. To answer your question no. From personal experience Thermaltake fans suck to the max.
im looking for quite fans, thermaltake 140mm fan is 16dba. i dont know any other fan that is as quite as that. aerocool streamline but not able to get them in england. i had to order mine from HK. lol
Quieter the fan, the slower they go (so lower the air flow), that is usually how it goes. What you want is know what you have now, and see how you can get the most efficient fan. Here is a trick with all 4 pin molex fan, you have 2 speed, high and low. You just reverse the plug.. kinda tricky to insert it on reverse, but it fits with a little force. Just dont' connect any other device on the fan plug as it's on reverse.

money not the problem, it just finding the perfect 140mm fan. that quiet. but my original question is does anyone know if the XThermaltake 140mm x 25mm TurboFan (A2491) any good?
