Yeh its a discontinued product. I no there are 2 sites that have got the black version in NZ (New Zealand.) For $268 to $290. Dont no if any stock or not.

    http://www.modster-pc.co.nz/shop/product_info.php?cPath=146&products_id=187

    http://www.digitalgenius.co.nz/products/cases/lianli-pc880.html

Nothing more done on it yet just sorting out sum parts to order and trying to think of what to do with the case feet. Would like to change the stock ones.

This is the stock case feet. One bolt in the middle holds them on so easy to replace.

Was playing round today with sum of the alloy that was cut out of the rad holes and sum acylic I had.

Case feet. Not going to be using them on this case. Wanting solid alloy feet for this case.

To get the MNPCTECH case feet it would cost about $47.00 thats without shipping. I emailed a person other day to get a cost to make me sum custom feet so hope to have a email tonight from them to see what there cost will be. From a mill/lath shop.

    Update time.

Got sum more parts today. In the white bag is 4x Chrome Bezel led holders.

This is the PSU bracket and where the stock buttons and leds got held into the front of case. Because I am using my own there is now nasty holes so got to mod this so I dont see them.

    Covered.

Back of the bracket cover also.

    Back into the case.

Installed grommets for the side fans so all the wires will be hiding under the mobo tray up the under the bottom 5.25" where the fan controller will be..

Installed grommet for the power and led's for the front of the case to the mobo so they are all hiding under the mobo tray.

Installed grommet for the psu power cable so it can be hiding under the mobo tray to.

Normal the power cable goes roun the top of the case and stands out so much it looks nasty. I will have to unsolder the plug off the end so I can get it into the case under the mobo tray.

Hope to have all my hdd's and parts next couple of days then I will start on the 5.25" bay modding.

Never saw a V880 Lian Li, missed them somehow. Soooo, guess someone has to be weak enough to state the obvious; looks like someone kicked over a V1000. Now there is a mod challenge if one wants an 880 and can't find one.......
Anyway, good to see you've got a project going Mark. Awfull lot of Photobucket bandwidth exceeded tho.

Right a update for you all.

Inside of the case stock power supply cable and rear.

Modding the rear 60mm fans at moment. This plate is to cover the rear of the fans on the back of the case.

Bolted in place for now. Will have more on this part later on.

New parts. The power cable on the PSU boxe is the new cable Im installing in the case as the stock one would have to do a loop in the front of the case because Corsair psu's have there 3 pin plug upside down. Not like most PSU. Will take a photo of it to show you later.

The 2 60mm fans I got I stripped the wires and blades out of only wanted the housings.

Housings cleaned up and installed with back plate in place. Got a plan for this part but your going to have to wait and see.

    Sum more parts.
    BenQ DW240S 24x Speed Internal DVD±RW Drive.
    1 x Western Digital Scorpio Black WD1600BEKT 16MB 160GB SATA 2.5".
    3 x Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD5000BEVT 8MB 500GB SATA 2.5".

Installed 2 gromments for the fan controller cables to go under the mobo tray for the fans.

Got my package of stainless bolts and dome nuts today.

Also today got a package of electric parts.

Also today got the Procase ST-1042SS, 5.25" x4 2.5" SAS/SATA to SATA, SwapRack Enclosure.

Made all from brushed alloy and very nicely made unit.

Rear of the unit. Also has 2 fan speed settings. low or high.

    Bays open.

    All harddrives installed.

One of the air vents on the unit.

    Just a test fit.

Got the 2 top radgrillz bolted on the the top panel with the new bolts and nuts.

Filters and grills installed on 1 side.

    Closeup of the bolt heads.

    Closeup of the nuts.

Top panel of the case finished.

Also today I got a 2nd fan controller. I have now got a silver 1 and a black 1 so im swaping parts over on them and changing the leds.

Thats it for now going to work of the fan controller tomorrow and one of the side radgrillz.

    Thanks all for looking. :)

Got sum more done this weekend.

Picked up 6m of heatshrink. Differant sizes.

    Side radgrillz bolted on.

This is the hole I cut so I could get to the fans to bolt them in also for the fan cables to go under the motherboard tray. Used sum of the rubber U edging I brought.

The inside of the rear two 60mm fans. Plate is only a template as I have to get some 3mm alloy sheet. Covers the PSU plug and makes it more tidy.

This is the stock PSU cable that was in the case. Not good as it points up to the top of the case and would have to bend it round to go under motherboard tray.

This is the new PSU cable. Will go under the motherboard tray easy.

Here is 1 of the tools I brought a couple of weeks ago. Its a Cross Slide Vice. I have got it bolted to the drillpress at moment. Makes get lines of holes all in the right place. The brown stuff on it is grease that it was coated in when I got it.

Here is the back of the 5.25" bay unit. I have modded one of the Lian Li 5.25" blank bay covers onto the rear of the unit also installed grommets. One for the dvd drive sata power and one for the harddrive rack unit IDE power.

Side filters and fans installed into radgrill, Had to shorten the bolts for the fans about 2mm.

Inside of case with fans installed and grills installed. You can just see the rubber on the hole in mobo tray for getting to the blts on the fans. Nice and clean no fan wires.

    Tight times here.

Got the fan and filter installed on the other side radgrill.

Looking into the case from the 5.25" bays. Hows this for sum nice fitting.

You can see that this fan covers the 7th PCI slot and the bottom motherboard bolts. Im not worryed because im going to be using a matx board.

Thats it for now. Got to shorten the bolts for the harddrive rack unit to bolt into the 5.25" bay and work on the rear 60mm fan panel.

PS. I picked up another Lian Li case today, A Lian Li PC-6070a. Has a system in it and im on it right now.

    This is the case.

Got to say Lian Li has changed a bit from when this case was made but sum parts in it are still like the new cases out now. Ver nice and clean case.

Looks better than factory, and that's the highest compliment I can give a Lian Li modder. Excellent stuff :thumb:

    This is a beautiful mod!

I've always like Lian Li cases and your mods really match the case design.

This is definitely wonderful. Exceptional attention to detail. I agree with Puresilver much better than factory. Your cuts are nice and clean and the new feets are bangin. Excellent modding.
