Yeah PB can be a little bothersome sometimes. I've been lurking in this log since you started and I have to say I'm impressed with your skills. I looked at Overcool and I loved what you did with it. Well done :D

Update time. After work this week I did little bits on the case.

Picked up this sheet of alloy this week for free. 230mm by 240mm and 5mm thick.

On the left is the template sheet I made for the rear fan panel and on the right is the new 5mm thick sheet.

All fan holes and bracket mounting holes drilled.

Hole of the 2 square holes cut.

    Both holes cut out.

    Masking removed and sanded smooth.

Still have to give it a fine sand and do brushed alloy look on it.

Got all bay units installed with the allen key bolts. Had to shorten the ones for the hard drive unit.

Back of the units with the drive cover plate installed.

    Test in case.

still working on the rear plate at moment. Hope to have the rear plate done this weekend and test fit into case.

What about front plates for the units? They look rather ugly without it imo. Love the project though! :)

Yeh Lian li drive cover cant be used on this dvd drive with its drive face plate in place I have now removed it and got the Silver Lain li drive cover over it. The middle harddrive rac is going to stay black as im installing black on both sides of it in the holes/slide in the case. The fan controller Im looking into doing the lian li cover mod to it.

The black on the dvd drive is way differant to the other blacks think its because the dvd drive cover is plastic.

This week i got more done on case. Finished up the rear panel and the 5.25" bay units. Starting on the front of case this weekend.

Stock fan controller face plate at top and lian li drive cover bottom. Holes marked out and drilled.

All cleaned up and ready to install.

Fan controller modded with a Lian li drive cover and I installed a drive cover on the dvd burner. I had to remove the face plate of the tray so the drive could get out the Lian li door.

    In the case.

Test fit of the back plate on the fan housings.

Bolts holding the end of the back panel in. Test fit.

Installed both LCD temp displays in the back panel and drilled sum holes in the fan housings for the wires to hide inside the housings and out behind the back panel.

Installed into case and wires sleeved and hiding under the motherboard tray. Still have the plastic covers on the screens.

Back of the case with blank panel installed.

Looking in from the 5.25" bays.

Got the front panel plates cut and drilled. They go on the inside of the case were the black mesh was. I have covered the fron of the alloy with a black textured vinyl. Will have a photo of it next update.
