    heh, thats quite cool especially for people that like google and yahoo but switch between the two!

    Very useful indeed! Should make one with more search engines. But I usually always use google as it gives better results imo.

    A while back, the results pages for google changed and I suprised by a comparison with yahoo. :worried:

    I don't think so...

    Google appeared in 1998.
    Yahoo appeared in 1996. (Or that's as far back as the way back machine goes...)

    or

    it's genius. i'm just wondering how to work alta vista in there :rock:

    Actually Yahoo! was powered by Google, for a few years until recently.

    Yahoo! started out using their own homegrown solution, then Google appeared on the scene, turned out to be way better than their own so they licensed it off Google. Then Yahoo! started buying up half the internet including Overture... and worked on creating an engine good enough to rival Google's, which they believe they did so they dropped Google's engine and now use their own again.
