Re-united with my faithful companion! I'm treating him to a full i1 display pro calibration. He's happy now 2 bloody weeks! not happy Eizo... not happy with you at all
Awesome! Very jealous. Reading their site the effort they go to with the features these days is brilliant - modes for emulating tablets and smartphones so you can make sure the colours look right on inferior devices. You need a mech board though.
LOL... Maybe I do. I like my wife's steal series, but I love my subtle backlighting. I'm still sat on the mech board fence.
Two weeks is looking better than what I'm getting from Microlabs, but is still terrible for such a high end product. They should take a leaf out of Dells business book.
It is indeed I looked at the race and the pure, but I don't like the backlight bleed between the keys, and there's no numeric keypad or media controls. One thing I do like about this G110 is the way ONLY the letters light up, and it's very dim. I've yet to see a mech board with as good lighting as this. As soon as I do.. and it has decent media controls, I'll buy. So far the ducky shine is the closest I've seen, but pretty sure there are no media controls.
Ducky Shine II has no dedicated media controls but they have dual features on the F Keys when pressed with the Ducky key.
Meh, You kids, with Your fancy Mech keyboards. IBM Model M, maybe an M13 if You want black. /shakes cane.
It's broken again! Same fault. Lasted less than 4 weeks. There's no way I'm paying for the return again. Eizo rock, but I'm seriously doubting their after sales service.
Feeling your pain, its not even funny when you fork out that much cash on a pro screen to have fail again.
When you spend serious cash on pro kit, part of that money should go towards the superior customer service you need when said kit is important to you livelihood. Slow and bodged repairs, paying yourself to return faulty equipment. It's not really on.
Well... Eizo no longer make a 16:10 screen, so I won't be getting another anyway, but even if they did, no matter how epic the monitor... and it is... I can't be doing with the levels of service I'm getting so far. NEC Spectraview Reference series for me next I think.
