Well, just finished university and need some wheels. Always liked the focuses, dont mind that there overly popular and found this lil beasty 2 weeks ago. Had a drive, put a deposit down, picking her up today Nice to finally get some freedom of my own, been restricted to being a named driver with mum or dad since i passed my test because of school and university not making it financially viable to get my own car. Shes the 2.0 Zetec ESP Model with 17" Alloys and the Glass Tints and a Toad Cat1 Alarm/Immob added.
Nice one, Focii (?) do look quite nice I think and from what I hear are great to drive, the design was a few years ahead of it's time.
It definately was a great car when it came out, prolly the best car in it's class - Ford definately improved their build quality when they brought it out, even St Jeremy of Clarkson thought it was good
They are a great car to drive - I believe the Top Gear chaps thought it was a brilliant car too, so you're on for a winner. I can't say I'm keen the tinted glass though, it looks a touch drug-dealer-ish.
Nice car! Just needs the black rub strips and some of the other black plastic to be body coloured and itd look complete. Mind if I ask how much did it set you back?
Yea, im still a little unsure about the tined glass, it has its pro tho, the car is nice and cool inside in hot the summer days. I didnt honestly think it would make a huge difference but it is certainly noticable. Far less stress on the air con. Its a 2000 W reg with not a great deal of miles on it, Was 4500 froma dealership, a little more than prices from private on auto trader but then from the dealer i get some warranty and had it washed and serviced before it came! My budget was a little less than that really, but seeing as it had nice alloys and a decent stereo on it which i was intending on doing whatever car i got, and a Toad cat1 alarm i thought might aswell spend the extra anyway. And well, im pleased with it, drove it back yesterday, is very nice. Very smooth, corners nicely, handles nicer than my parents jeep i was driving before rofl Proph.
