Aye! Weeeeee!!! As some of you know, I play the great highland bagpipe (scottish bagpipe). Today a band partner sent me this link, you can see some funny **** at this site. Must See! http://www.badgershit.com/mchaggis.html Find more here. http://www.badgershit.com Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
God bless the Dropkick Murpheys and God bless Boston. You have no idea how homesick this makes me! Especialy the last part where he says, "Who drank all my bee-ah." The put on a really great show. If you are ever in Boston for New Years, find out where these guys are playing and see Boston at it's, well, most.
lol was quite funny...althought is it just me who needs a new soundcard or weren't we actually meant to know wtf he was saying half the time? <A88>
A88 and Fly, The song is from Punk Band Based in Boston. It is suppose to sound that way. Pretty much all punk music is hard to understand, but if you take your time and listen closely you will understand what he is saying. It is rather funny. If you need some lyrics: http://www.dropkickmurphys.com/discography/releases/slsp.html# The song name is The Spicy Mchaggis Jig. Jumeira_Johnny: I listen to them often. I have seen them a few times up in Boston and CT, but haven't been living on the East Coast for a while (Coast Guard tells me where to live) but got to see them a while ago here in San Francisco. It was a great show and definitely makes me home sick (grew up just outside Worcester). Hopefully they will come out this way again soon.
Thank you for the link skeletor121. I found the bagpipe notation for that song and it's easy to play. http://www.dropkickmurphys.com/pipers/assets/spicyjig.jpg
i happen to think the name of the site sums up that flash pretty well. And also drop kick murphys live show. hmmm, im just thinking of all the better things i could have been doing while i saw them
True, but they are a part of Boston, and it's one of those things you have to do in order to grasp the Bostonian attitude. I only have seen them once, on new years eve and I don't regret it.
