4 different maagers each tell me a different place in the store & each one complains even tho i tell them i have been told by a different manager to stay someware else then someone decided to put me on games with the playstation 2's rhat were the actual box nto even the empty box that were right by the door (idiots, boxed consoles by the door ) i am not a game player, i knwo nothing about consoles or games (i still love my nes) so i told the managers i dont knwo games, i cant answer customers questions, in one weeked i have sold, 5 mabey 6 ps2's (int he same time on hifi i had told 18 - 19 hifis costing more than ps2's) they ignored me, then when a customer pulls me off i get a rolloking froma manager for leaving the game center & when i say to a customer i cant leave the game center but if you give me a second to look for a free person, i got complained at for saying that i swear people there are morons

well seriousely tho if you had someone who knew about hifi, even listed hifi & home cinema under interests (so sue me, im the only 19 year old i knwo that buys what hifi) you would put them on hifi (there is basically no one on hifi) but if you had someone who says they are not a game player (i have serious sam, that is about it) then you wouldent have them selling consoles its pure common sense as far as i can tell, the people who lknow about games & onsoles sell games & consoles but if you dont then you dont i hate this job (i havent sold a coverplan eather & im gonna get complained at for that) but i need the money for xmas as its the last one my brother will be at home for
the managers honestly you would nto put someone who does nto play games on selling consoles & games *mumble* set the building on fire *mumble*
Sam mate, I've got a years worth of Elecrical Retail under my belt, and I can tell you now, that EVERY SINGLE Sales/Floor managers ETC, are ex bullied children who now take it out on the salespeeps.... I'm telling you now, they're all knobs, do you get grilled about not selling Extended Guarantees or "GEEES" as they were called, do they say "You were **** then, I cant believe you didn't sell a 'GEEEE' I could have sold one with my eye's closed." then have you seen them trying to sell one? PFFT!
one of the sales staff actually told me i need to stand up to the managers more, i mena there are supposed to be 2 people on games but the other lad keeps waking off so i am stuck doing it all myself sod it im gonna stick with hifi, hifi i know & im gonna prove it by showing i sold 14 £400 quid hifis with a coverplans one saturday but put me on gmaes 2 playstation with no coverplan you do the math for how much money im making the company (but no staff discount or commision ) /me calmer now you would be amazed how much ofa calming influence listenign to your music really loud has
dude tell the manager that you'll do his job for a day if he'll do yours if he sells more than you do he can fire you.... if not you keep his job... not likely to happed cause he know's hes an assmungler but still...
It sounds like you need to stand up to the man. Tell him to find the people who are supposed to be working in consoles, then tell him something about how they do a much better job in that area, ect ect. At least that's what I'd do, but then again, I wouldn't find myself in that situation, as I try to be fairly knowledgable in whatever industry I'm near...
