1st let me just say i aint been round cos i was busy with numerous projects and uni so hello all been trying to get a remote controll to work with my pc for a while now but i cant find the damn reciever ICs to build the one on the lirc website (here ) i know farnell used to stock them and maplin didnt but maplin now stock a 3 pin device and i cant work out if its compatible and to cap it all i cant find the one on the farnell website GRRRRRRRR can ne one help pls? cos ive destroyed my ps2 ir reciever trying to build one for my pc and im getting miffed oh btw i havent been too lazy just got too many projects like gameboy cart writer, gameboy -> graphical lcd cart, couple of things to do with force feedback and D3D, IR controller and running a c&c renegade server on my other pc oh and i finally finished my pic programmer then blew up my pic chips by accident
thx nice 1 took me ages to find the rs website grrrrr then i looked under ir remote control recievers which had the 1 they say not to use if u can help it at all ever right now to try to persuade someone with a credit card that they want to buy em 4 me :-/ never mind tho thanks again now to work out where to mount it and on which pc
Which one is the I've some TSOP1838, 286-1425, 0.88p, sat in my basket at RS. Are they not recommended?
