Yep thats the lens. Its a great lens on the D3. I feel that I will use it a lot more with FX than with the DX sensor. I am also waiting on a 24-85 AF-S that I just picked up. I think that will be a nice utility lens.

Congrats on the new body. Im a Canon fanboy I admit, but I know the feeling of getting a new body.

Great lens too, makes those low light shots awesomely fun. :)

Yes, I use my 50 1.8D a lot more now that I have my D700, it's a much more usable focal range on the FX compared to DX

If this will allow you to express your creativeness more, then I can't wait for the outcome, because I liked a lot of your shots before you got this, so am looking forward to seeing what you can do with such a nice camera. :hip:

First, thanks. Also, I think I will use it a lot and it will allow me to expand. I do shoot already a lot in low light, and mostly I can not use my flash because a lot of it is dance. And that being said a friend of mine might be hooking me up with New York City Ballet to do some photography. It would be a great gig and the D3 would almost be required.
