Been up on Dartmoor today. Had a good foot of snow cover, and much deeper in drifts. It was spectacular
I'm so jelous, anyone want to swap right now? Its been 40+c the past 2 days in a row and tomorrow is ment to be about 45, hell its 2:50pm here now and its 43c God all that snow looks good right now...
I wish mate, i'm in sydney australia its dropped down to the mid 20's this week thankfully with a bit of rain, but its so nice bar the humidity which is a bitch as always but still better than 40c any way you look at it
It's just started snowing again!!! I'm in Bristol, it's been drizzling all day, totally depressing, then in the past couple of hours has been dumping snow, inches thick and the water has frozen into a nice icey base Appears they haven't salted so might just have to get the Defender out there
Got dumped on by snow/sleet while out for a jog which wasn't much fun. Fair to say the hot shower when I got home was the most welcome ever.
It's pissing it down here now. I was hoping for more snow, but I'm glad the slush has gone, and hopefully the rain will get rid of the salt. My poor bike is rusting like crazy.
Snowed today, first time in a few weeks. I spent about two hours shoveling snow off the helicopter pads. Not fun. My everything hurts!
Definitely no more snow, it's been raining heavily for nearly 2 days now, the river Itchen (about 1/2 mile from here) has bursted it's banks. AFAIK it's the first time it has burst in 8 years. Water is about a foot deep at least. Next week, tornados or heatwave, take your pick.
Heatwave please, fed up of the snow. Well I'm stuck at home. We only get 1 bus an hour through the village, it's crashed at the bottom of the village (due to black ice) and been stuck there for just over an hour, the other bus is stuck in Stormtown (the next village along the route) and so Stagecoach have stopped the buses until their sure they can get through. Hopefully, I'll be able to get into work this afternoon.
Rained yesterday evening. Ended up with one very wet dog. At least the temperature kept itself more or less above freezing.
