If you want us to see pics hosted on geocities you have to rename the extention to .txt on the server and link to that, geocities doesnt allow hot-linking.
Or we can just drag the link up to the address bar

In reality, it's not a waste of money. Yoshi was finishing this up during the week I was on TechTV (after the show I actually helped him work on it to kill time till I had to leave for the airport home). He got a lot of companies to fork out samples to be included in the project. Basically the best of the best were gathered and, from what I understand, some of it wasn't for keeps. It was merely a "proof of concept" and a bitchin' project to boot.

Kindof one of those "what would you build if you could" type things.

It was intended as a big eye-popper build for entertainment and it worked. It was pretty damn cool.

I had an idea of somethign like this when I was a kid back when those Virtual Worlds were in Las Vegas. I always had ideas of constructiong one myself, but didnt know wheter to go with a closed or open style. But now that I see how to make one, especially one that someone has done. It makes me now want to get out my Oxy-Fuel Welder and goto town. Yes in no way is this a waste of money but a true enjoyment of the ultimate gaming experience.

I like it and all, but a few touchups could have been done:

    -Sheath the speaker wires.
-The center speakers should be below the monitors, near the left and right speakers.
-Was there a stick shift to go with it?

What graphics card did they use?

I do see they used the correct processor :D

I think the wheel was of the F1 variety with paddle shifters. The system was one of Monarch System's Hornets. I'm pretty sure it was a dual card nvidia driving the video but can't remember.

He said in the video the Matrox Arhelia? Helia?
Hope that helps. Spans across the three LCDs at 2400 x 600 he said.

No there was no stick shift.. Underneath the LCDs were the feet are there was a high end racing hydr. driven pedals.. Gas break clutch. but no shifter.

No a very good gaming card tbh. He should have gone dual on a good agp card and used a pci card for the third monitor.

It was geared towards one game I guess.. You would think though he would go all full out but it gets the job done.
