Holy crap this amp has got some chops ! My centre used to drown out the front speakers. Can't even hear it now, just had to stick my ear to it to make sure it was working.

Roll on making the stands I guess.

Edit. Screw it. Not making things in the winter these will do for now.

Remember to buy an inverter MIG welder for making your stands at home, as it will be MUCH lighter to get up all those stairs

Problem is it means mess. Painting MDF is a sod, as you have to seal it first or it just absorbs everything. Then sand, then prime, then sand, then add black or what not. It shouldn't be hard to make them, but yeah it will need outside which ATM I am not in the mood for. I'm also not in the mood for waiting for two weeks for the paint to dry. I'll knock them up in spring no doubt.

Yeah only issue is finding some that look nice and are the height I need. That's an issue when one side only has 90cm of height.

That's also why I had to be so careful picking speakers. Anything that needs room would sound awful. The Sonus are made to be put literally against a wall, as the port is in the bottom and fires through a channel out of the front.

Stands are coming today. Well, according to the tracking info any way. I don't trust Yodel one bit, so I am glad I didn't get up at the crack of dawn. They won't come for a few hours any way looking at where he is.
