    Not purchases I made myself, but gifts: Two pairs of Reebok trainers and a pair of Reiker shoes. I'd forgotten how comfortable footwear can be. I usually buy cheap as I was stung after buying a pair of Hush Puppies that wore out incredibly quickly (obviously don't make them like they used to).

    I'd have to say from the things I've bought for me it'd probably be an iphone.

    Best as in value? A DBX 266XL stereo compressor/gate for £40 second hand. They're about 100/120 new and I've used it so many times it's crazy. It's cheap enough that I don't mind lumping it around to gigs with me and keeps my more expensive gear safe at home!

    As far as fun goes.... A GTX275 with batman arkham asylum for about £150 a while back. I upgraded from a 7600 so a bit of a jump! It's so nice to game on now.

    Next - A new monitor! Possibly that tasty Dell panel :)
