Well, i stated in my other thread i would start another, and it is what it is, So, who is your favourite Bond?
I grew up watching the Pierce Brosnan films and whilst I have seen all the others on TV accross the years I don't really enjoy them because of how old they look. I guess you had to be there in order to appreciate the other bonds fully. My vote was for Brosnan
I will be shocked if Connery doesn't win. And as long as Lazenby comes last I'll be happy; he wasn't bond he was a civil servant.
Its a shame, two people voted for not likeing bond, and didnt explain why, well, i guess we all have our reasons. I voted for Brosnan myself, Goldeneye was probably the best film ive watched, which just happens to be a Brosnan film (fancy that) However i do enjoy all the other films and yea, Sean is the second best Bond for me, Lazenby isnt English though, and i think that spoilt it, never mind. Sam
Connery is the best IMO, but Brosnan has been the best since Connery stopped (apart from the last two films, which were awful IMO). Connery isn't english either, and neither is Brosnan
i am the same - brosnan is bond to me simply as the films with him as bond are the only ones that have been released since i started watching films... i think...
I liked Timothy Dalton shame he only did two. he was so good in living daylights. second has to be Sean Connery. i actually liked George Lazenby but he dident rearly suit the role.
The best Bonds in order are (in my opinion) Connery, Brosnan, Connery*, Lazenby/Moore (both equally bad), Dalton. Craig's film isn't out yet so it's too soon to rate him. Dalton was lumbered with political correctness, but his acting was rubbish anyway. * Connery in "Never Say Never Again" - officially not a Bond film, therefore is counted seperately from his other appearances as Bond.
Lazenby last with Dalton second to last. Connery, followed by Brosnan. Moore was alright but with goldeneye being the best bond movie Brosnan had to be second.
I thought Dalton was a bad ass. Was pleasantly suprised when I watched whatever bond movie he was in. I haven't voted yet though. I think it's a bit unfair to do this before 17/11. From what I've heard though, the critics have absolutely loved Craig's performance in the newest one.
