Sorry if this is classified as spam (I guess I'll find out pretty soon), but I for one find it really interesting to see why people came here and what their very first post was. I can still remember mine - I'd been watching Bit for a while, reading the project logs and generally browsing around, but finally registered to ask a question about a bug in Livewire (a piece circuit simulation software). What was your first post, and why did you come here?
My first, second, and thrid posts were all posts that beat Kameleon to a post, so they all got deleted. Well, the first one was. Second and third were just pure spam. /me fluffles kam
My first post would take too much effort to dig up (it was in the Orac 3 part 1 thread IIRC). Bit-tech only maintains a record up to 1000 posts; ive got more than 2000 posts too many to know what I said without more effort than is worthwhile
this is mine..... in a thread about using green tea to polish hdd read heads.... seems so long ago now, its a shame the quality of my posts hasnt improved much as to what brought me here.... i stumbled upon this place when i was looking for some pc parts in the uk that i could pay for via paypal if i remember correctly. i had a quick look round and ive been addicted ever since.
Mine was an introduction thread. And I came here for the "for sale" forums. Seeing I got banned for no reason at another certain UK forum.
Looks like I was praising one of macroman's case mods back on 2 Dec 2001, some things just don't change, I was praising his latest yesterday. But first post was 27 November 2001, after a web search for info on the Gemini dual-fan HS mod by one ::Kna:: led me here. Never did get an answer off him...

My first post was in another of piloux's project logs. He really has done some great stuff. I remember posting in another thread about a year ago that it was one of ZapWizard's projects that had inspired me to sign up - I remembered incorrectly - It was piloux. Good stuff.....

My first post here, not that long ago. I thought it would have been in the Noritake thread, tbh - I'm pretty sure that's what drew me into bit-tech. I broke the rules in that thread too. What a rebel, eh?
