    1x N40l microserver with dedicated 1Gbe ports for -
    FreeNAS,
    Ubuntu desktop,
    Ubuntu Server,
    Windows XP (old CCTVserver)
    Windows Home Server 2011
I put a 4x Gbe card in to give a dedicated port to each VM (in addition to the onboard port)

Just waiting for a 16/24 port managed switch to do this all properly rather than multiple small switches.

For some of us, the total extent of our house being connected to the outside world was a Bakelite phone in the hallway!

In my room alone, I have:
    Blu-ray player,
    Freeview recorder,
    iPad,
    xBox 360,
    Nexus 4,
    NAS Drive
    and my laptop.

It does seem very crazy once you actually count it up...
