Cable... 3Mbit down, 256KBit up I think. I just voted 2048/256 because I'm lazy though, even though it's really like 3072/256.

ummm.. how??? I hope you don't meen what the ethernet cable speed. If so, that just meens the connection from your computer to whatever device it is...
But wow.. if you really have 10mbit at home, I truly envy you.

    You've got dial-up. You'd envy someone with 1mbit up. :D

Not that I have room to talk, I envy dial-up. No net connection at home.

my cable connection downloads between 900kbs/1.5mb per second, so i guess that would make it 7.03125mb - 11.71875mb
but with a crappy 128kb upload :sigh:

56K at home (Come on BT guys, get your head out of your ass: 150K can be cheaper than dialup! :waah: )

JANET at college, sometimes crawls worse than 56K! (no joke) But that's to do with the topology (everything goes up the line to the appropriate server and back - even local print jobs - we need switches!)
oh and there's surveillance and blocks up the kazoo (no downloads, though we can stream music and video, but for how long... :sigh: )

I had a T3 line at school! a DSL at work and 56K at home that runs like a 28.8. I'm thinking of suicide.
