Meh, we broke up shortly after. It really bothered me for a while, but that was a few years ago. Certainly learned a good lesson!
Getting a letter from my neurology specialist with a diagnosis on it. Long time waiting and finally I can be what I am without having to wonder. It was an expected outcome but still, all I can remember about that day is tears. Long story, use the search. Send me a private message if your #2 arrives on January 29th. Then you can chug a beer for your kid and me on the same day.
Realising I was so damn sexy. Seriously it would have to be my perfect girlfriend you can throw up now... 'doc
Mine would be breaking up with my GF. She was cheating on me, then I found out how common it was, and how so many people just treat others badly. Was a big eye opener, especially when it comes to trust.
Deciding not to kill myself when I was about 15. 13 yrs later and I'm still going strong. The parents splitting up thing is a hideous thing to happen. Mine split up about 8months ago and things are never the same both personally and within the context of relationships or family.
1 - Realising/being reminded I should appreciate every moment due to (in time order): My grandparents dying within a couple of days of each other (years ago). My best friends wife dying from anorexia (3 years ago at 32). My dad having a mild heart attack (a couple of years ago). 2 - This year splitting up from my gf of 10 years and then meeting my new gf.
I think for me it would have to be two things 1 When my lil sis and bro were born, that really changed my life, how i do things etc etc. 2 When i started college, it was the best thing for me Feel alot more mature and more independent, which im proud of
~) Spending almost three weeks in Europe with a friend ~) Getting arrested for a felony ~) Stabing a biker in the leg with a fork during a bar fight ~) Almost shooting myself when I was 10 / Cutting my wrists when I was 13 ~) Starting College/Getting my first job in the same week ~) Doing 100 mph into ONCOMING traffic on a 50 mph road ~) Reading this thread (4 of the above 7 things are true gotta let the imagination run a little bit here ) PS: The sig picture above ^^^ gives me nightmares

Ross? Is that you? I've been thinking hard, and I can't actually come up with anything majorly life-changing that's happened to me. Who knows, maybe this is the year?
/suck up mode on... The day I found Bit-Tech.net is my life-changing moment. Add that to my above list..
Amongst many things... Getting over depresion in the past few months after it ruinined my whole teenage life, my gcse's and uni (well up till now, im 23) Going to Uni, it was the very worst and best time ever, I laughed lots and I cried a few times Meeting my gf at uni, we may aswel be in the same head were so similar, she looks like a girl tho, obviously Getting my current job, which also put the last nail in the coffin for my depression. Pooters are pretty good, dont think its changed my life for the better tho Ive had it a lot easier than quite a few of you by the sounds of it, glad you all come out the other side
Having my best friend almost die on boxing day last year. The hotel he was supposed to be in virtually everyone died. Luckily he decided to go to a different hotel. Makes you realise how short you are on this mortal coil and how pointless alot of things people do are.
